Connect each Gmail account directly here. Credentials stay on the server, outside Hermes’s files and conversation. No email is sent during connection.
Connect with Google OAuth
Use a Google Cloud desktop OAuth client with Gmail API enabled, and add both Gmail addresses as test users if the app is in testing. Requested permissions are reading mail and sending approved messages only. Google testing-mode tokens may expire after seven days.
After consent, Google redirects to a localhost address which may not open. Copy that full address from the address bar into the field below. Treat it as private; do not paste it into chat.
Alternative: Gmail app password
This needs Google two-step verification and an app password. It grants broader mail access than OAuth, but stays encrypted on this server. Use an app password, never your normal Google password.
